I used to be terrified to claim the name of Christ. Many would make fun of me or mock me but remember Christ said if the world hates you remember that it hated me first (John 15:18). He also says that the first will be last and the last will be first (Luke 13:30, Mark 10:31, Matthew 19:30). This life is nothing but a speck on the timeline of eternity. I would rather suffer today to gain access to heaven and my heavenly Father who loves me and would do anything for me including forfeiting his own son to die on the cross for our sins, than spend an eternity separated from Him and His perfect peace and love in heaven.
Have you ever felt alone? I mean truly alone like you didn’t have a single person on your side well I have good news for you. You have someone who wants to always be on your side. Nothing is too much for the blood of Jesus to cover. If you have been told that you have been lied to, do not be deceived. Christ will keep pursuing you until your last because he loves you unconditionally even though he knows all of your darkest secrets. They don’t have to define you anymore. All you have to do is accept him and repent of your sins and you can be made anew.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
I used to be ashamed of this truth. That is what the enemy wants to make good things, like having an eternity with our creator in paradise seem like a fantasy. If He can make us seem loony or uncredible it is that much easier to deceive others into forfeiting their soul. He is the father of lies for a reason. Don’t let the devil take you down with him. Life may be short on earth but we should do what is right, good, and holy. Satan wants you to think no one can save you, so live it up while you can. I tell you brothers and sisters this is not the way.
Satan is purposely trying to mislead you if he can convince you you’re weird or wrong he can silence you. Nothing terrifies Satan more than a devout Christian spreading Gods good news to others and loving their neighbor as themselves. His goal is to take as many down to hell with him as he can. He knows he loses in the end but that doesn’t have to be your story. If there is still air in your lungs you still have a chance to repent and choose Jesus. You can be redeemed today.
It wont be easy believe me the bible pretty much promises you will suffer for being a Christian but suffering for a few decades is nothing in comparison to eternity. You will have to die to your flesh daily and pick up your cross. Love your neighbor and even your enemies. To me that use to scare me and not make sense but now it has become so profound. Can you imagine saving someone else’s soul just because they see a difference in you, they see the holy spirit, and the love you have for others that goes beyond human comprehension. I would rather be hated for the truth than be loved for a lie.
